I love helping people make good choices for a lifetime of health. A perpetual student, I graduated from the University of Vermont and the University of Nebraska, College of Dentistry. I returned to my home community to join a long established Brattleboro dental practice. Simultaneously, I started a five part education continuum at the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Studies.

Today, in addition to taking numerous courses in complex dental treatment planning and aesthetic enhancements I also lecture to dentists and dental students in the US on subjects of staff meetings, listening skills and group learning.

Out of the office I enjoy anything outdoors and a highlight of my life was completing Outward Bound courses with two of my children. I also hike and bike frequently and spent five years coaching the high school ski team when Brattleboro won six state championships in women's or men's skiing. I also ski jumped competitively all around New England many years ago.

I enjoy being around people who long to be the best in their field. At Dental Health, we learn and grow as a team of professionals who are committed to helping friends make good choices for long term health.

Our options to help you chew and smile with confidence are increasing every day. Our opportunities to serve you have never been greater. We enjoy helping you on the journey toward health.

I was born in Ohio and attended Miami University and The Ohio State College of Dentistry. Because of the wide choice of outdoor opportunities, I was drawn to New England after dental school. Brattleboro has been my home since 1981.

Helping people to have a smile they are proud of is my passion. I have attended the Pankey Institute for Continuing Education, The Dawson School for Advancement of Dentistry and the Seattle Institute for Dental Education. I enjoy all phases of dentistry including cosmetics and doing root canals.

Nancy, my wife, has started a non profit agency, Girls on the Run, that teaches young girls about fitness and healthy lifestyles. Together, we organize two 5k races every year for these girls. I have coached baseball and basketball for more than 30 years. We live in Vernon with our 3 children.

Your smile tells others what you think about yourself. I am fortunate to work with a team of people who are so committed to helping others have a healthy natural smile.

We appreciate the confidence you show in us by referring your family and friends. We are never too busy to help.
Saturday, May 7, was Free Dental Day in Brattleboro. On that day, we were able to help community members who otherwise would not have been able to afford care. We are proud to be able to give back to this wonderful community. How rewarding for us to see the appreciation of our patients!

Saturday, May 21, was the Girls on the Run 5k. Girls on the Run is an esteem building program for young girls 3rd to 8th grade. The culmination of this program is a 5k run/walk. This was the 17th year for this Event. Dental Health team members have volunteered every year - selling t-shirts, applying face paints and hair color, and providing post-run refreshments.

Dental Health team members also participated in Bowl for Kid's Sake. This annual Event raises money and awareness for the Big Brothers / Big Sisters program of Youth Services. A big brother or big sister is a friend or companion to a child living under difficult circumstances.
