Cherryl Ellison, D.D.S.
Dr. Cherryl Ellison grew up in southern Indiana. She has practiced in Indiana and San Francisco, and is proud to be part of the team at Dental Health Brattleboro.
Dr. Ellison attended Indiana University for a BS in Biology where she was on the collegiate cycling team and was involved with Habitat for Humanity. After undergrad, she continued her studies at the Indiana University School of Dentistry. Dr. Ellison participated in programs offering oral health education to kids and was able to participate in several international trips.
Dr. Ellison's goal is to make your dental appointment as comfortable and fun as possible. She takes pride in seeing patients improve their dental health and achieve more esthetic results.
In her free time, Dr. Ellison loves hiking, biking, and running. She plays the oboe and saxophone and loves Star Wars.
Yusuf Sheikh, D.M.D.
Dr. Sheikh is a board-eligible periodontist who grew up in Texas, but has called New England home for the past 8 years. He completed his undergraduate degrees at the University of Texas and then went on to obtain his Master’s in Biomedical Sciences at Midwestern University in Illinois. He attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where he earned his DMD in 2018 and completed his postdoctoral periodontal training in 2021. Since then, he has worked in private practice in Providence, Rhode Island.
Dr. Sheikh is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, and American Dental Association. He is also certified to provide IV moderate sedation.
In his spare time, he enjoys exploring the food and cultures of New England with his wife, Justina, attending Red Sox games, and relaxing with his cat and two dogs.
He recently joined Affinity Dental and is excited to meet his new patients.
Amrita Tembhe
Dr. Amrita Tembhe is originally from central India. She studied for her doctorate in India and then immigrated to the U.S. to get further education and training that allowed her to practice in the U.S.
Dr. Tembhe attended Boston University for her postdoctoral training in Geriatric Dental Medicine. She completed a residency in Dental Public at the NC State Health Department and attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for her Master’s in Public Health. She has practiced in India and the U.S. and recently moved to Brattleboro to join Dental Health.
Dr. Tembhe is an active member of the American Dental Association, Special Care Dentistry Association, and American Association of Public Health Dentistry.
Dr. Tembhe enjoys getting to know her patients. She believes in a personalized approach to patient care as to her, each patient and their smile is unique and special. Her goal is to create a genuine connection with her patients and to provide them with the excellent, individualized care they need.
In her free time, Dr. Tembhe enjoys spending time with her family and friends, enjoying the outdoors, and everything New England has to offer. She is very excited to join the Affinity Dental family and to be a resident of the beautiful state of Vermont.
