What To Expect
After a thorough exam of your teeth, gums, and bite, our Dental Health team may recommend full-mouth reconstruction. Your unique treatment plan will be created based on the state of your teeth, gum tissue, temporomandibular (TMJ) joints, jaw muscles, and bite. Our team will go over your treatment and sedation options, and our own recommendations during your consultation to ensure your treatment plan fits your needs and goals. Once your treatment plan is created, we will go over what to expect during your full-mouth reconstruction and schedule your appointments. In general, a full-mouth reconstruction will take several visits to Dental Health. Our team will plan your procedures with time in between to allow your mouth to heal before the next step is taken.

The entire experience from reception to the dreaded chair and back is without a doubt superior to every other dental practice I have encountered. In a field where the potential for opportunistic behavior is ripe, the staff here is nothing but genuine, thoughtful, and professional. I regularly tell people how lucky I feel to have ended up with the best oral care I’ve ever had as a result of a random decision that was based entirely on convenience. I literally can not state how grateful I am to be a patient here and I would dare say that I look forward to my appointments. Hands down the best oral care I’ve ever received and I’m picky about my teeth .

After each procedure in your full-mouth reconstruction treatment plan, our team will explain what to expect and how to care for your mouth. We may prescribe antibiotics or pain medication that should be filled before your procedure and taken as directed. You may experience some discomfort or swelling after certain procedures, like implant placement that may make it difficult to chew, so a liquid or soft food diet may be most appropriate for you. Once your full-mouth reconstruction is complete, you should maintain your restored oral health with proper brushing and flossing at home. Annual dental exams and bi-annual cleanings at Dental Health are also important. During your exams, our team can monitor the health of your restorations, natural teeth, gums, and jawbone.
